Yarn Wrapped Winter Trees

Our Paper Mache Cones are a great base for making festive Holiday Trees. Follow this link to see our Tassel Pine Trees >

All you need is some cones, some glue, and some yarn.  Our Snowy Fluffy Tree below was made with the Clover Pom Pom Maker. The Wintery Trees get the gradient look from the same skein of yarn. Just choose some self-striping yarn like Candy Shop yarn.

These yarn wrapped trees are easy and give you some fresh, new, holiday decor.

To create these Snowy White Trees all you need is some white yarn, Firefly Lights, and a Clover Pom Pom Maker. For the fluffy snowy tree glue the pom poms onto the cone base with a glue gun and then string the Firefly Lights through.

For the Yarn Wrapped trees, apply glue to the bottom of the tree and start wrapping yarn around. You can apply glue sporadically on the rest of the cone, no need to cover the whole thing. Apply again all over at the top. We then wrapped the trees again. After the second wrapping pic a contrasting color to wrap a bit around the tree. Glue on snowflakes or embellishments with a glue gun or fabric glue.
