Always make sure to measure your image first. All of our frame sizes are based on the inside dimensions. Therefore if you have an 8×10 image and do not want to use a mat, you will want an 8×10 frame. If you have an 11×14 image and do want to include a mat, it is important to choose a larger frame size to accommodate this.
A readymade frame is pre manufactured and comes in a variety of standard sizes. We offer a FREE quick fit service on all readymade frames. Meaning we can put your artwork in the frame while you wait. This includes glass cleaning, dust cover, wall bumpers, and hanging hardware.
In our experience, these are the most popular and most utilized sizes overall. These sizes cover a wide range of photograph sizes, poster sizes, art print sizes, and many other common sizes we see every day.
5×7 is a very popular frame size because so many photographs are printed off in the 5×7 size. 5×7’s are the perfect size to display your photos on a desktop at work, home, or to give a precious memory to someone close to you.
8×10 is a common picture size but it is also a perfect frame because it allows you to mat your smaller photographs. You can mat a 5×7, 4×6, or even two landscape 3×5 photo’s to help highlight your memories.
11×14 Many of our customers love this size because they again can use a mat on smaller pieces, or just highlight their 11×14 photographs.
16×20 If you are looking for a medium sized picture frame, the 16×20 size is a great choice. You can easily mat an 11×14 image. This option provides just over 2” of matting on each side of your image. This is a great size picture frame because you can make it a highlight piece on your wall, or part of a mixture with other frames to form a collage on your wall.
24×36 Our largest popular size picture frame size. 24×36 is the main size that most posters that are sold come in. Therefore if you are looking to frame a poster for a dorm room, your office or house, or to give as a gift, this is the perfect picture frame size for you.
You don’t need to worry. Our Framing Experts install hanging hardware on the back of each custom frame and quick fit. We take the size and weight of your piece into account and install the appropriate hardware.

We can frame your artwork using what we call a preservation or museum mounting using acid free materials and protective UV glass.
In many cases, moisture is present in the artwork itself, so only proper spacing will prevent it from sticking to the glass. Our Framing Experts can use mats and/or spacers to create a gap and allow for airflow between the art and the glass.
With a preservation mount (placing the art on a board to go into the frame) we want it to be removable and reversible, so we have several techniques that suit each individual art piece. Never hesitate to ask how our Framing Experts will mount your piece. For photographs and other reproducible artwork we suggest a dry mount.
We offer a 99% UV protection glass option.
Probably not! After all, these are custom frames and shadow boxes! We can add space to the back of a frame or layer frames to build enough depth for dimensional objects.

A custom size frame here at Craft Warehouse is any size or depth. We can produce almost any size frame your heart can imagine. Our only limitations come into play with the width of the moulding- the thinner the frame, the smaller the maximum size will be.
