It is so easy to create unique and custom artwork in 3 easy steps. No special skill is required and the results are impressive.
Here is all you need:
- A Float Frame or an old frame that can be used as one (you could also try a regular frame and add a backing paper)
- Paint Pens – we love the Posca Paint pens
- A line drawing to copy – this could be a print-out or a coloring page book.
Basic Directions:
- Clean the frame’s glass on the front and on the back
- Tape the picture to back of the glass
- Trace the image on the front of the glass (*see details about this below)
- Let Dry
- Take off Paper
The above directions are if you want the painted part to be on the front side of the glass. If you do this version or one where the front part of the glass is painted, you might want to seal it with something like Americana Sealer so that you can then dust it without damaging it.
If you want your image on the back of the glass and if your image needs to be read or you want everything to be exactly the same as the printout, then you need to flip your printout when you print it so any words are readable and key images are in the right spot.
