The new Alcohol Lift-Ink Pad from Tim Holtz opens up a whole new easy way of creating with stamps. Once you’ve created a palette background with your Alcohol Inks on a non-porous surface (plastic, vinyl, metal, yupo), you can then use the Alcohol Lift-Ink Pad to lift off the color with your stamp. The end result is a ghosted image in the background as well as a multi-colored inked stamp that you can then transfer to paper. Incredible!
Here are two cards that were made from using the Alcohol Lift-Ink pad. You can use the ghosted image and the stamped image – two creations from one technique.
Curious about other things that Alcohol Ink can do? Here are three other ways to use Alcohol Inks. These inks are very versatile and can be used in many different ways.
