Sashiko is a traditional Japanese stitching technique developed centuries ago to strengthen and insulate garments. This two-piece needle set includes one shorter and one longer needle (1-15/16in and 2-5/8in), designed with long, straight shafts that allow multiple stitches to be loaded at once. Strong and smooth, these needles are ideal for traditional white-on-indigo sashiko stitching, visible mending, and decorative hand embroidery on cotton and linen fabrics.
