Kids Camp Alcohol Ink Planet Tea Light Make & Take Thurs July 9th 11AM-2PM

Get ready for a craft that is equal parts colorful, creative, and out-of-this-world fun! Join us at Craft Warehouse for Alcohol Ink Planet Tea Lights. A hands-on project where kids and families can design their very own glowing “planets” using a ping pong ball, alcohol inks, and a battery-operated tea light. This imaginative Make & Take. Combines art, color, and light to create a one-of-a-kind project. That looks magical when finished and is just as fun to make as it is to display.

During the event, participants will decorate a ping pong ball with vibrant alcohol inks. Experimenting with how the colors blend, spread, and swirl across the surface. As the inks move and mix together. Each ball transforms into a unique glowing globe with patterns that can look like planets, moons, or even tiny galaxies. Some creations may feature bold bands of color. While others may have marbled or speckled effects, making every single finished piece completely unique. It’s a great introduction to alcohol inks in a way that feels playful, approachable, and exciting for creative kids and curious makers.

Once the decorated ball has dried, they’ll be placed over a battery-operated tea light. To create a soft glowing effect that brings the design to life. The finished piece becomes a fun illuminated “planet” that kids can proudly display. Perfect for in a bedroom, on a shelf, or as part of a playful room décor setup. This craft is beginner-friendly, all supplies are provided. Our team will be nearby to help guide the process and encourage creativity along the way. It’s a bright, memorable project that mixes sciencey wonder with artsy fun, and everyone leaves with a glowing little masterpiece.
