Imagine 4-year-old Linda’s wonder and joy when her grandmother, uncle, and great-uncle brought this abandoned fawn home from a deer hunting expedition. Naturally, they named it “Bambi.”

They bottle-fed and raised him with the family. Bambi would come into the house, play the piano, watch tv and snuggle with the children. He lived his entire life on the ranch.

Many years later, her grandmother had the picture enlarged for her, and Linda’s husband framed it. But the silver frame he chose never quite did it justice. Eventually, at Craft Warehouse, Linda re-experienced the wonder and joy of Bambi’s story, honoring it with the frame she had always envisioned.
