Even if you do sew, sometimes you just don’t want to bust out the sewing machine. These no-sew towels are a great gift, a fun way to dress up your kitchen or a party, and quick and easy to make.
We recommend using Heat n Bond to adhere the fabric to your towels as shown here.
We carry a large selection of plain kitchen towels including flour sack towels, solids, and checks. If you want to add on ricrac, buttons, or any more dimensional pieces you need to use Beacon’s Fabric-Tac Glue if you will not be sewing it on.
The fabric used in the Americana embellished towels is Stars and Stripes by Northcott. We carry this line year round. The stars were cut out using the star pattern from the Abbey Lane Quilts Fab Five Table Snacks pattern. The smaller stars area buttons. Look for buttons without shanks and they will be easy to glue on. Our designer on this recommends not overthinking the buttons “sprinkle them on, adjust a bit and glue where they land”.
