A fun and easy way to use the fun jelly roll fabric strips is to create a ruffled apron. You can just add the ruffles to a plain white apron. To make this apron, we used the plain chino aprons we carry at Craft Warehouse and then decorated it with a “Kiss the Cook” iron-on transfer and then added the ruffles.
Supplies:
- Moda Ever After Jelly Roll Fabric
- White Apron
- Kiss the cook Iron-on by Decorating Your Life
- Red, Black and White Thread
Directions For Kiss The Cook Ruffle Apron:
Adjust Your sewing machine to make the largest stitch.
Sew 2 stiches 5/8 of an inch down both sides of your fabric.
Slightly pull on the 2 top threads to create a ruffle.
Create 4 ruffles them sew them on to the front of your apron.
Iron on “Kiss the Cook” Following the directions on the package.
