Sew this: Christmas Tree Shaped Napkins – Free Pattern

View File to PrintThese Christmas Tree Napkins are so pretty on your Holiday table. They’re easy to make and we have a free pattern and project sheet for you to download. If you show off your napkins on social media, please remember to tag @craftwarehouse.

Supplies for 2 Christmas Tree Napkins:

2 fat quarters of complimentary fabrics or ¼ yard each of 2 complimentary fabrics

Directions:

  1. Using the Christmas Tree Napkin Pattern , cut out the napkin pieces noting which pattern edge belongs on the fabric fold. Before cutting, check this pattern piece and adjust the pattern to make the straight edge 16” long and the distance to the highest point of the arc 8”.
  2. Sewing with a scant ¼” seam allowance eliminates the need to clip the large curve. With right sides together, sew from the flat side around the curve and back to the flat side, leaving 4” opening. Clip the corners.
  3. Turn right side out. Press. By machine or by hand, stitch the opening closed.
  4. With the flat edge at the top and following the photos below, fold the left side in toward the middle 2 times to obtain your tree. Press the folds in place.
