Florals are back in a huge way – literally.

Floral prints are back and ready to be the new trend for the next several years. Move over succulents and thanks for all your good work, geometric patterns. No offense, but we’re so ready to indulge in some flower power.

Large floral prints are all over home decor, textiles, and fashion. This bold floral trend has also influenced crafting projects, quilting, and papercrafts.
The Big Floral Trend in Crafts, Paper and Quilting

In My Mind’s Eye has created a gorgeous paper collection called In Bloom that captures the trends of large florals, florals on a black background and gold accents. Below you’ll see some scrapbook layouts that Sarah, from our design team came up with using the In Bloom collection.

We also have some gorgeous florals in the Quilt Shop that are new for Spring 2017. These fabrics are perfect for sewing up a pillow or two. Pillows are the quickest way to update a room and try out a new trend.

Bolted Florals for Spring Prints

If you love florals but are looking for something a little less bold, never fear. Smaller floral prints are still very popular and are being seen more than usual as well. A recent line to the quilting shop is the Garden Delights collections from In the Beginning. These pretty floral prints were the subject of the small book Garden Fresh Quilts, currently available in the store as well.
