View File to PrintWe love the jumbo knit trend.  What’s not to love? It’s soft, it’s jumbo and it’s easy.

Jumbo yarn projects knit up quickly and we love the look of who the stitches are so defined. 3 Sisters yarn from Fair Isle is perfect for your home decor pillows, poufs, and throws. We also love using this yarn for chunky scarves, hats, and cowls.

H3 Sisters Chunky Extreme yarnere are our directions for making this lovely afghan. The time to complete was less than 90 minutes. The finished size is approximately 28″ x 50″.

You can also use this technique to create a jumbo cowl scarf (see image below)

Supply List:

• 3  Skeins of 3 Sisters Super Bulky yarn

Gauge: is dependent on arm/loop size

Directions:

• Cast on 15 Stitches and arm knit all rows.
• You will need to add each new skein of yarn with a knot that you will gently turn into the back of your loop and face to the reverse of the blanket.
• Continue to add yarn and arm knit until you have approximately 4 yards of yarn left, and then bind off.
• Weave in ends and Enjoy!

For a Larger blanket– using 4 skeins and casting on 20 Stitches, Arm Knit all stitches until you have about 6 yards of yarn left and Bind off. Weave in ends and Enjoy!

Arm Knit a Jumbo Scarf
