Supplies:
Medium Paper Mache Cones
Acrylic Knobs
Chipboard
Glass candle stick base
Jute String
Bells
Glue gun
E6000 Glue
Tab Punch by Little B
Directions for:
Jute String Cone:
- Start at the top of the Paper Mache Cone with your string, put a little glue gun dot to secure the string onto the cone. Slowly wrap string around the cone adding a small amount of glue gun to hold it in place.
- Once you get to the bottom of the cone secure again with glue.
- Make a base for the cone by cutting out a circle out of chipboard slightly smaller then your cone base.
- Glue circle to the inside of your cone using glue gun.
- Add your candle stick base using E6000 glue.
- Tie a piece of Jute String to the cone and add bells on the ends.
Paper rip cone:
- Cut the top off of the Paper Mache Cone using a mini saw, knife or sharp scissors.
- Choose 2 pieces of 12×12 scrapbook paper.
- Rip small pieces and glue to cone using glue gun.
- Once the cone is covered with paper then add knob to the top of the cone using glue gun.
- Then wrap the top with Jute string and tie leaving a tail for 2 bells.
- Make a base for the cone by cutting out a circle out of chipboard slightly smaller then your cone base
- Glue circle to the inside of your cone using glue gun.
- Add your candle stick base using E6000 glue.
Paper lace cone:
- Cut the top off of the Paper Mache Cone using a mini saw, knife or sharp scissors.
- Wrap paper around the cone and use glue gun to hold it in place.
- Cut off all the extra paper around top and bottom of the cone.
- Glue strip of lace ribbon around the bottom of the cone.
- Add knob to the top of the cone using glue gun.
- Then wrap the top with Jute string and tie leaving a tail for 2 bells.
- Make a base for the cone by cutting out a circle out of chipboard slightly smaller then your cone base
- Glue circle to the inside of your cone using glue gun.
- Add your candle stick base using E6000 glue.
Tag Punch cone:
- Cut the top off of the Paper Mache Cone using a mini saw, knife or sharp scissors.
- Punch out 2 – 12×12 sheets of scrapbook paper using the Ticket punch.
- Cut tickets apart and glue on layer by layer using a glue gun.
- Add knob to the top of the cone using glue gun.
- Then wrap the top with Jute string and tie leaving a tail for 2 bells.
- Make a base for the cone by cutting out a circle out of chipboard slightly smaller then your cone base.
- Glue circle to the inside of your cone using glue gun.
- Add your candle stick base using E6000 glue.
