Framing Stories – Remembering Sierra

At the Craft Warehouse Frame Shop we are honored to have the frequent opportunity to preserve your family heirlooms, memorabilia and original art through custom framing. In working with the customer to make sure the end result is exactly what they want we often hear many moving and remarkable stories. With the permission of the customers we would like to share some of them with you.

Craft Warehouse Framing Stories - Remembering Sierra

For 14 years, Julie and her canine counterpart, Sierra, were inseparable. Not a day passed that did not find the two pals exploring in the mountains or frolicking by the river. Sierra’s gentle spirit and loyalty to Julie were unsurpassed.

When Sierra’s long and rich life at Julie’s side came to an end, Julie wanted to create a way to honor and remember her devoted companion. She selected a handful of especially memorable photos, a tuft of fur, Sierra’s kerchief and collar, and other keepsakes. Along with a poignant poem, the mementos were artfully arranged and lovingly framed by Lisa and the Craft Warehouse Frame Shop team. While Sierra will always be missed, Julie can now gaze at the framed tribute and fondly remember their time together.
